Who it is for
- Parents and grandparents who want a letter from Santa with their child's name on it, without writing it by hand.
- Families with a Christmas elf who want arrival, I'm back, goodbye and reply letters.
- Teachers who want certificates and notes for a class, with the names typed in.
How it works
- Download the six PDF files and open one in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader on a computer.
- Click a name line and type the child's name once: it fills in on every page of that file. Type the age, the date and your own words too.
- Print in US Letter or A4, fold the letter and leave it where Santa or the elf would.
- Prefer a pen? Print the pages empty: every field prints as a plain line to write on.
Description
Fillable letters from Santa and a Christmas elf, plus 24 daily elf notes: 70+ pages in one download.
Type your child's name once and it fills in on every letter, certificate and label, then print. The kit has fillable letters from Santa (6 letters, each in two versions), a Christmas morning letter, Nice List certificates, a wish list with Santa's reply and North Pole extras, fillable Christmas elf letters (arrival, I'm back, goodbye and reply) and the Christmas Elf Notes with 24 daily notes and kindness cards. 77 pages in all, each page counted once, in US Letter and A4.
Made for: Parents, grandparents and teachers who want a warm letter from Santa and a Christmas elf to write to their child, with the names typed in and printed at home.
How the pages are counted: every page of the English US Letter files, each page that appears twice counted once. The A4 copies are the same pages again and are not counted. Pages with typable fields count as pages of their own, because they differ from the plain pages in the footer and how-to; the elf letters of the fillable pack repeat the wording of five letters in the Christmas Elf Notes.

Questions
Which app opens the fillable fields?
The free Adobe Acrobat Reader on a computer works best. Mac Preview and most desktop browsers let you type too, but Preview shows your typing in a plain system font. Many phone and tablet apps cannot type into PDF fields: print the pages and write by hand there.
Do you add the names for me?
No. You type them yourself, on your own device, so nothing about your child is sent to us. This is a digital download, not a custom order.
Can I change the text of the letters?
The fields are for names, dates and your own notes. The printed wording of the letters cannot be edited.
Is the elf a brand character?
No. The kit uses a generic Christmas elf, original text and original art. It names no brand and uses no film or book characters.
How are the pages counted?
I render every page of the English US Letter files and compare them. A page that shows up twice counts once and the A4 copy of a page is not counted again. The headline figure is that count rounded down. Some fillable pages repeat the wording of plain pages in the elf notes, so the figure is a page count, not a count of different texts.
Is there a version without fields?
Every fillable page also prints as a normal page with plain lines, so you can print and write by hand. Names are never printed on the pages.
What format is it?
Fillable PDF, US Letter and A4, Printable PDF, US Letter and A4. 6 files: 6 PDF files, fillable PDFs and printables in US Letter and A4.
How do I get my files?
Right after payment you come back to this shop and see a download button for every file. The links stay valid for 14 days, and with your email and order reference you get new ones on Find my order. No account needed.
Which paper size should I print?
US Letter for the USA, Canada and Mexico, A4 for Europe and most other countries. Both are included. Print at 100 percent (actual size).
Can I print it more than once?
Yes, as often as you like for your own personal use.
Is anything shipped?
No. This is a digital download. Nothing is printed or mailed.
