How do I download my files?
Right after payment you land on a page called "Thank you! Your files are ready." Tap or click a button to download that file. You should also receive an email from us with the same links and your order reference. The links work for 14 days, and each file can be downloaded up to 10 times in a 30 day window.
Please save the files to your device or cloud storage right away. You can always get fresh links later, see My links do not work.
My download link does not work or has expired. What now?
Links are valid for 14 days. After that, or if a link was cut off by your email app, get new ones in a minute on Find my order: enter the email address you used at checkout and we send you a page with fresh links for all your orders. If that email does not arrive (check spam and promotions), use the second form on the same page with your email address and your order reference (it looks like MBD-XXXXXXXXXX). The links then appear on screen.
If you see "download limit reached", write to us and we reset it.
Can I download on my phone, or do I need a computer?
Both work. On an iPhone or iPad the file lands in the Files app (Downloads folder, or tap the download arrow in Safari). On Android look in the Files or Downloads app, or tap the download notice in Chrome. For printing, a phone is fine if it can send to your printer (AirPrint, Mopria or the printer app). If you want to unzip big packages or print many pages, a computer is easier.
How do I open a ZIP file?
Some products come as a ZIP package that holds many PDFs.
- Windows: right-click the file, choose Extract All, then open the new folder.
- Mac: double-click the ZIP, a folder appears next to it.
- iPhone and iPad: open the Files app and tap the ZIP once. A folder is created next to it.
- Android: open Files by Google, tap the ZIP, then Extract.
If the ZIP will not open, download it again with a fresh link (an interrupted download is the usual cause) or write to us.
How do I print correctly (US Letter or A4, fit to page)?
Every product contains both paper sizes. Use US Letter in the USA, Canada and Mexico, and A4 almost everywhere else, including Germany, Spain, France and the UK.
- In the print dialog choose scale 100 percent or "Actual size". Switch off "Fit to page", "Shrink to fit" and "Scale to fit".
- Check that the paper size in the dialog matches the file you chose (Letter file on Letter paper, A4 file on A4 paper). If you only have the other size, printing the file for that size at 100 percent is better than shrinking.
- Print a single page first as a test. Our pages keep at least 10 mm of free margin on every side, so home printers can print them without cutting off content.
- Use "Best" or "High quality" for coloring pages and thicker paper (120 g or more) for pages that get colored with markers.
How do I open the spreadsheets, and what if I cannot edit a cell?
Spreadsheet products are .xlsx files. They open in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets (upload to Google Drive, then open), Apple Numbers, LibreOffice and the free Excel apps on phones.
- Excel: if you see "Protected View", click Enable Editing first. To change a locked cell choose Review, then Unprotect Sheet.
- Google Sheets: upload the file and choose Open with Google Sheets. If a range is protected, use Data, then Protect sheets and ranges, and remove the protection.
- Numbers: open the file; if an object is locked choose Arrange, then Unlock.
Sheets that protect formulas do not use a password. If a sheet asks you for one, write to us and we send you an unlocked copy.
What can I do with the files (license in plain words)?
You may use the files for yourself and your family, and teachers may use classroom products in their own class. You may print as often as you need.
You may not resell, share or give away the files (also not in cloud folders or groups), publish them online, use them to train AI models, or use them commercially unless the product page says so. The full text is on the License page.
Can I withdraw from my purchase or get a refund?
In plain words, and consistent with our Terms: consumers in the EU normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital downloads the law allows this right to end as soon as delivery starts, if you agreed before paying that we deliver right away and confirmed that you know you lose the right of withdrawal (one checkbox with two sentences). We ask for exactly this on the product page and in the cart before you pay, and we record it. The right ends once the download links have been made available and you received the contract confirmation email.
If you did not get that confirmation email, or if you never gave the consent, the 14 days still apply. Use Vertrag widerrufen or write to us. If a file is faulty or does not match its description, you have the statutory rights for defects: tell us and we provide a working file, or otherwise remedy it as the law requires. On top of that, our own voluntary promise for file problems: if a file does not work and we cannot fix it, you get your money back. This promise applies in addition to your statutory rights and does not limit them.
Separately, our payment partner Link may refund an order in individual cases within 60 days under its own policies. That is its decision and gives you no extra claim against us. You can ask via the receipt email from Link or on support.link.com.
I bought the wrong product. What can I do?
Please write to us as soon as you notice, with your order reference. We cannot promise an exchange or refund for a product that was delivered as described, because the right of withdrawal ends at delivery (see the answer above), but we look at every case personally and help where we can. If you are within the first days of your purchase and have not used the files, say so in your message.
Where is my receipt or invoice?
Payment is handled by Stripe Managed Payments. The company "Sold through Link, LLC" (Link) is the merchant of record, so your payment receipt and invoice come by email from Link, not from us, and your card statement shows a name like LINK.COM. Check your spam folder if you cannot find it. You can also manage your orders on link.com.
Our own email with your download links and the order reference (MBD-...) is a separate message. If neither arrives, use Find my order or write to us.
How do I contact you and how fast do you answer?
Write to hello@maxbeautifuldesigns.com. Please include your order reference (MBD-...) or the email address you used at checkout, and what you see on your screen. We reply within 1 business day, usually faster. For questions about the payment itself (card charge, receipt, tax), Link support can also help you directly.
